The Ice Gardens is a state-of-the-art multiple pad ice sport facility, comprised of 6 NHL-sized rinks, one of which seats 2200 and converts to Olympic size. The largest new facility in North America, it also has a Dryland Training Centre, 12,000 sf sports bar/restaurant, full-service pro shop and 40 changerooms. A private sector initiative with York University in the City of North York, this facility is a model for public/private partnering.
